Vinyl flooring is made of vinyl, or poly vinyl chloride (PVC), the same material that is used to make everything from medical tubing to cable insulation. Vinyl flooring is resistant to breakdown and wear, but is flexible. It is relatively quiet compare to hardwood and ceramic. Vinyl floors come in a wide variety of styles and colors.
